The new Brooks Adrenaline GTS 25 has dropped!
Brooks made some changes to this shoe's 25th edition, which I will discuss below. If you are a fan of the previous version, keep in mind that for a limited time, we still have it available at a lower price.
The two substantial changes are to heel fit and the stack height. Brooks added 3mm more foam to the forefoot and 1mm more to the heel, a small increase that resulted in a reduction in the heel-to-toe drop from 12mm to 10mm. The Adrenaline GTS 25 is still a high drop shoe, but drops have been coming down across the industry in recent years, and this change is on trend. The heel change is more likely to be controversial. There is now a true heel bevel, and the heel collar is very similar to the one in the Glycerin. Heel lockdown remains good, but for many people, there may be more pressure on the Achilles from the extra padding.
The DNA of this shoe is unchanged. It is still a supportive and balanced stability shoe that is excellent for walking or running miles. If you are worried about the changes then come check it out before we sell through the last of our 24s!
