Expert reviews
What reviewers say about the HOKA Bondi 9
Our take
A max-cushion shoe for easy miles, recovery days and long hours on your feet. It feels soft, stable and a bit livelier than before, but it is still heavy and fits on the narrow side.
Reviewers like
- Deep, soft cushioning for easy miles
- Very stable for such a tall shoe
- Lighter and bouncier than the Bondi 8
Watch for
- Narrow fit, especially through the toes
- Too heavy for faster running

RunRepeat86/100
Lab tests found the new foam softer and bouncier than before and very durable, but the toebox is narrow and the shoe stays bulky.

Believe in the Run
The new supercritical foam makes this the best Bondi yet for fans, ideal for recovery days, though it is pricey and runs warm.

Doctors of Running
A premium max-cushion trainer that shines for walking, standing and slow runs, with excellent stability but a snug, tapered toe box.

Running Shoes Guru8/10
A firm, supportive and very stable max-cushion trainer for easy runs, though the price feels high for a ride with little energy return.

How fast do online orders ship?
Shipping is free on US orders of $75 or more, and $10 below that. Orders are processed within 2 to 3 business days and are not shipped on weekends or holidays. You'll get a tracking number by email as soon as your order ships.

I'm not sure what size to get. Can you help?
Yes. Stop into either store for a fitting, or send us a note and our fit team will help with sizing and a few shoes to try.
Do you carry wide sizes, and can I bring my orthotics?
Many of our shoes come in wide versions, and some have a roomier toe box by design. Bring your orthotics or insoles to a fitting so we can make sure they work with your new shoes.
How do Coastal Run Rewards work?
