The Men's Topo Athletic MTN Racer 4 is a neutral trail shoe for race day and daily training on rugged, technical terrain. It pairs Topo's roomy toe box with a secure midfoot and heel, so your toes can spread while your foot stays locked in.
A ZipFoam midsole gives a responsive ride on a 33mm heel and 28mm forefoot stack, and the Vibram Megagrip outsole grips wet and dry ground. The FKT insole uses closed-cell beaded foam that keeps water out, so the shoe drains quickly after creek crossings. A slightly snugger upper adds security, and an improved hook-and-loop gaiter attachment works with trail gaiters (sold separately).
