The details
About the Topo MTN Racer 4
Grip and go on technical trails.
The Women's Topo Athletic MTN Racer 4 is a neutral trail shoe for race day and daily training on rugged, technical terrain. It pairs Topo's roomy toe box with a secure midfoot and heel, so your toes can spread while your foot stays locked in.
A ZipFoam midsole gives a responsive ride on a 33mm heel and 28mm forefoot stack, and the Vibram Megagrip outsole grips wet and dry ground. The FKT insole uses closed-cell beaded foam that keeps water out, so the shoe drains quickly after creek crossings. A slightly snugger upper adds security, and an improved hook-and-loop gaiter attachment works with trail gaiters (sold separately).
Key Features:
- 5mm heel-to-toe drop
- Neutral support
- ZipFoam midsole, 33mm heel / 28mm forefoot stack
- Vibram Megagrip outsole
- FKT insole drains quickly in wet conditions
- Roomy toe box with a secure midfoot and heel
- 8.5 oz (women's size 7)
Ideal For:
Trail runners and hikers who want grip, protection and toe room on technical terrain, from daily miles to race day.
Why We Love It:
Megagrip traction and a roomy toe box in one fast trail shoe, in Blue/Blue.

Questions before you buy
Can I pick it up in store?
Yes, where it's available. Check pickup availability for your size above, then choose local pickup at checkout. We'll email you when your order is ready.
How fast do online orders ship?
Shipping is free on US orders of $75 or more, and $10 below that. Orders are processed within 2 to 3 business days and are not shipped on weekends or holidays. You'll get a tracking number by email as soon as your order ships.
What is your return policy?
Return unworn items in their original packaging within 30 days of delivery, or within 60 days if you're a Coastal Run Rewards member. Return shipping is free. All sale items, and anything bought below its original price, are final sale.
I'm not sure what size to get. Can you help?
Yes. Stop into either store for a fitting, or send us a note and our fit team will help with sizing and a few shoes to try.
Do you carry wide sizes, and can I bring my orthotics?
Many of our shoes come in wide versions, and some have a roomier toe box by design. Bring your orthotics or insoles to a fitting so we can make sure they work with your new shoes.
How do Coastal Run Rewards work?
You earn 1 point for every $1 you spend, in store and online, and can redeem points for money off future purchases. Members also get 60 days, instead of 30, to return unworn, full-price items.
